Best of Camp JRF
There is no way to truly experience Camp JRF without being there, however you can see through these pictures and these writings how our campers feel about Camp JRF. We are proud of the community that we build here at Camp JRF, and we hope that you will come to be a part of it. Please click the photos to view larger versions.
“One thing I learned at camp is just to have fun.”
“One thing I learned at camp is my Reconstructionist group is my second family.”
“Now that we have experimented with prayer through movement as well as movement through prayer I feel as though a whole new way of Judaism has been opened up to me.  Having my motions directly related to the prayers and melodies is like experiencing a completely higher level of freedom in which I am giving permission to my entire being, physically, spiritually, and mentally to become a part of the prayer.  I can connect to God, myself, and my community in ways that sitting down and repeating words just doesn't do.” (Leah T.)
“We want the Jewish people to create a lively and rich and constantly renewed culture.”
“My least favorite memory of camp is leaving.”
