What is a typical day like?
During the day, you will have the chance to
enjoy all that camp has to offer: swimming in the lake
and pool, playing on the sports fields, taking part
in exciting discussions, creating something in our arts
center, challenging yourself on the ropes course, experiencing
great programs, and more. There will be times for you
to do things with your tzrif (cabin) or eidah

Where will I live?
All campers live in wooden cabins. Located throughout
camp, all cabins have electricity and sleep 10 to 12
campers plus two counselors in comfortable platform wooden bunk beds.
All cabins have electricity, lighting, and modern bathrooms
(including showers). You will have personal
shelf space and are welcome to bring posters, pictures
or other items from home.
If my friend and I come to camp, can we be
in the same cabin?
If two campers are in the same eidah (unit),
they can request to stay in the same cabin with each
other. If the request comes from both campers, we do
everything we can to make sure the campers' request
is honored.
Will I be able to see my friends from other
eidot (units)?
There is plenty of time during camp to see
friends from across camp. At meals and during services,
choice activities, snack time, free choice, and other points throughout
the day, campers have the opportunity to truly get to
know all the campers in camp - no matter their age.
What will the counselors be like?
There are two madrihim (counselors)
in each cabin, both of whom are college-age. They are
great listeners, exceptionally caring, extremely fun
and energetic. They are there to make sure you are happy, safe and have the summer
of your life.
What are meals like at camp?
Every meal at camp provides variety so that
you will almost always find something you like to eat. Camp
meals include pizza, burgers, pasta, tacos, and so much
more. All meals are kosher and there is always a tasty vegetarian choice during meat meals. Fresh fruit and vegetables
are available at every meal on our salad/fruit bar, as well as basic sandwich
ingredients such as tuna, egg-salad and/or soy "peanut" butter & jelly. Camp is completely nut-free.
What is Shabbat like?
For many of our campers, Shabbat is the highlight of the week. Shabbat at camp includes creative and energetic
services; lively singing and dancing; time for rest
and relaxation; and a change from our regular daily
schedule.
